Insight Steps Up Cloud Offensive, Hires Former Microsoft Senior Cloud Specialist

Insight was already a major Microsoft partner, but now the solution provider is once again stepping up its cloud business by bringing on Claire Saddington as a cloud solutions executive.

Saddington formerly served as a senior cloud infrastructure and applications solution sales specialist for Microsoft for four years. Prior to her latest role, Saddington also held other roles within the Redmond, Wash. tech giant, serving as principal partner sales manager and principle partner technology sales manager since 2004.

Insight, based in Tempe, Ariz., provides cloud computing, data center management, and IT services to end customers. The publicly-traded company, No. 13 on the CRN Solution Provider 500, has been heads down focused on selling cloud solutions, especially Microsoft Azure.

During the company's Q4 2017 earnings call in February, Insight CEO Ken Lamneck said that the company continues to be Microsoft's largest partner globally, and was named number one in Microsoft Azure consumption in the region for the year.

Saddington took to LinkedIn on Monday to announce her latest career milestone.

"I'm delighted to share that I've joined an enthusiastic team at Insight with the responsibility of helping customers realize value from their investment in Microsoft cloud services. I'm thrilled at the opportunity," she said.
