Polycom Focuses On Integration With Microsoft, Skype Business Tools

Collaboration and communication specialist Polycom's integration solutions are built specifically for the Office 365 and Skype for Business environments, and Polycom's Richard Fann walked CRNtv through the features of the technology.

"What we have here is the trio that not only serves as audio conferencing for the Skype for Business environment, but it can also do content and video collaboration as well,’ Fann said.

Polycom's VTX phones allow for direct integration to the Office 365 and Skype for Business environments. The VTX 1000 promises outstanding voice clarity, up to 20 feet of microphone pickup, background noise reduction technology, and technology that is immune to cellphone interference, according to Polycom.

The RealPresence Group Series system offers enterprise-grade video collaboration. It uses Polycom SmartPairing technology and allows users to share content up to 1080p resolution, at 60 frames per second, the company says. It also features native interoperability with Skype for Business.
