AMPS Back Plate - Silver When attaching a ProClip device holder or Pedestal Mount to a vehicle dashboard or other surface which lacks sufficient structural integrity to provide a stable mounting platform, we highly recommend the use of one of our Backing Plates for added stability and durability. Simply drill the properly located AMPS hole pattern in your mounting surface, position the plate on the back side of the mounting surface and then thread machine screws through your holder or pedestal base, through the drilled surface and into the AMPS holes in the Backing Plate. Then secure with the included Nyloc nuts.
